Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry today visited the new training premises of Bryson FutureSkills.

Bryson FutureSkills, previously known as North City Training, currently delivers Training for Success, ApprenticeshipsNI, European Social Fund programmes and Steps to Work on behalf of the Department for Employment and Learning and has acquired the new training premises at Stockman House in Belfast’s Bedford Street. The new facility will further support and enhance the delivery of its programmes to disadvantaged young people.

Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry today visited the new training premises of Bryson FutureSkills.  Pictured with the Minister is Liam McNeill Director of Bryson FutureSkills and Leanne Crowe from Newtownabbey, who recently completed the Steps to Work Programme and is now in employment.

Highlighting the importance of high quality training provision, the Minister said: “Training Suppliers play a key role in equipping our people with the skills with which to prepare for and enter into employment.  Working in partnership with my Department, organisations such as Bryson Future Skills can provide the state-of-the art training and knowledge upon which Northern Ireland’s economic future relies.  Importantly, it is essential that learners are provided with access to a modern and fit-for-purpose training environment. Bryson Future Skills’ new premises offer such facilities and I wish them continued success in their work.”

Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry helped to put the finishing touches to the new logo for Bryson Future Skills.    He assisted Nicole Harris(back) and Joanne Hardy who are participants on training programmes with Bryson FutureSkills.  Bryson FutureSkills previously known as North City Training is a leading provider of a range of employment and training initiatives designed for school leavers, young adults and those living with long- term unemployment.
